The comb is specially designed to electrocute lice on contact as the comb slides through clean, dry hair. When the comb comes in contact with a live louse, the comb “zaps” the louse with a small electric charge and the buzzer will turn to be short and quick beeper sound. After being “zapped” the louse will die instantly or soon after and will be unable to lay any more egg. Simply use the included brush to remove lice from the combing surface and resume combing.
We suggest use at least once a day for a minimum of two weeks. As a precautionary action, use once a week or as often as needed during an outbreak in your home area.
